Hello!

My passion for helping others blossomed in childhood. I often pretended to be Rainbow Rose - the great healer. I chose the name Rainbow Rose Massage to remind myself to approach my work with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that fueled my beginnings.
I studied massage at Central Oregon Community College, taking an extra 2 years of education in the field before starting my career as a bodyworker in 2015. While learning here, I was highly influenced by my teachers who specialized in physical therapy myofascial and trigger point work, as well as those who taught Traditional Chinese Medicine and Massage. Here, I also took extra classes for craniosacral, pregnancy, aromatherapy, trigger point/myofascial therapy, spa treatments, hot stone, kinesiology, and how long-term injury moves through the muscular system.

I have had the opportunity to train with the Ayurvedic specialists from Shankara for two years while working at Sage Springs Spa in Sunriver. I studied and practiced Shridhara treatment, and the Ahbyangah massage, as well as some Ayuvedic aromatherapy.
Here, I also had the opportunity to work and train with people who studied with Deepak Chopra and worked on the east coast at The 4 Seasons Spa.

After 5 years with Sage Springs, I moved to Ashland and have been serving the community here since 2018. I have spent time learning from and honing my skills with my colleagues and mentors at the Blue Giraffe, Waterstone Spa, Lithia Springs, Ashland Hills Hotel, Country Willows Inn, Siskiyou Massage, Light Touch Chiropractic and am presently working at Organic Elements Spa, and from my home in Ashland.

For my continuing education, I have studied Aromatherapy, Myofascial and trigger point work and furthered my studies of fascia and it's function in the body, kinesiology, lymphatic massage and the lymph system, Orthobionomy, cupping, hot stones, body scrubs, wraps, Gua Sha and Scraping techniques, the psychology of the mind-body connection, and have also taken continuing education to become more trauma informed.

Since my career began, I have developed and honed a practice that brings both the comfort and softness of a spa, with the effectiveness and professionalism of work you find in the medical field, having 7 years of spa experience and 5 years of medical massage for deep chronic pain and nerve problems. It has also given me the ability to offer a broad range of depth, from very light and flowy to a depth that hurts so good.

I want to do my part to make the world a better place by being a preventative and restorative option for people seeking pain and stress management. My goal is to help as many people as possible become free from, or learn to manage their pain and stress held in their body by being knowledgeable in a broad range of modalities offered in the field of bodywork, from medically deep, to light touch.

Value Statement
I hope to do my part to make the world a better place by helping my clients be the best version of themselves by working with each client to create a sustainable, well-rounded plan to allow people to be themselves more freely. To be that place where luxury and serious self-care meet. To be the bridge between wants and needs by utilizing various techniques ranging from soft, soothing gentle treatments to extremely deep work.
I also hope that my work can become an effective alternative option for both physical pain, and emotional and mental stress management.
